Planning perk: Adexa delivers Safe Harbor program to i2 customers

-- Manufacturing Business Technology, 8/27/2008 9:39:00 AM

Adexa’s Safe Harbor Program gives i2 Technologies supply chain planning customers a one-to-one exchange of Adexa’s next-generation supply chain planning applications that are equivalent to previously owned i2 products, at no cost. The initiative provides a committed solution road map to reduce uncertainties and disruptions related to the acquisition of i2 and its future technology direction.

"These are uncertain times for i2 and we understand that its customer base may be concerned,” says Cyrus Hadavi, President and CEO, Adexa. “Companies need a clear direction, updated capabilities, and unquestionable commitment to their respective industries. This program is about peace of mind, and we hope it’s perceived as a big welcome sign from Adexa.”

Adexa says its Safe Harbor Program presents a considerably better opportunity than other best-of-breed offerings because:

· Adexa is a premier global supply chain planning company that has comprehensive and proven solutions specifically for discrete industries, including Semiconductor, High Tech/Electronics, Heavy Industries, and CPG.

· Adexa’s ground-up and non-diluted (i.e., no acquired technologies) architecture provides for highly flexible and open solutions that minimize unwanted impacts on the organization and its users.

The program seeks to fully leverage the existing planning and integration infrastructure. The transition to the Safe Harbor begins with a three-day assessment study by Adexa’s Strategic Business Services group, at no cost; followed by recommendations and a comprehensive action plan and timeline. The key to this program is speed in delivery of value.
