SaaS Genius: PPM suite supports the virtual workplace

Genius Inside, supplier of the Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) suite called Project4Domino, announces Genius Project, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-enabled collaborative PPM solution that is particularly useful for organizations with external suppliers and partners involved in the production process.
Genius Project includes Matrix Planning, which allows project and department managers to optimally distribute work assignments with respect to the hierarchical organization. For example, midsize and large organizations operating in a matrixed fashion with virtual project teams across functional departments cans use Genius Project in the planning process. Matrix Planning allows project managers in these organizations to “borrow” resources from another functional group, accurately account for their availability for the project, and allocate appropriate tasks to employees based on their direct line manager’s other assignments.
Genius Project integrates bidirectionally with Microsoft Project (MS Project). Most competitive solutions allow importing MS Project data, but Genius Project enables both import and export of data in combination with MS Project.
